MCAS Miramar is scheduled to host the Second Annual High Intensity Tactical Training (HITT) Athlete Challenge from August 15 to 18.

Marines from all over the world competed at their installation for the chance to participate in the challenge. The top male and female winners from each installation will compete with each other at the main event aboard MCAS Miramar. One male and one female Marine will be crowned the 2016 "Ultimate Tactical Athlete.”

Media are invited to attend the challenge on Tuesday at 9 a.m. Interested media must R.S.V.P. with the Miramar Public Affairs Office at 858-577-6000 or miramarmedia@usmc.mil by Friday at 4 p.m.
