Hours of operation: Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Sundays and U.S. holidays closed.
Services Available: Purchasing stamps, money orders, mailing parcels to include express mail services, post office box rental (mail boxes may be rented via mail, contact your local USPS for details).
The Military Post Office:
Hours of Operation: The Military Postal Facility is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 0800 to 1630 and Wednesday from 0800-1200. Check-in and Check-out from 0800-1200.
Service available: Mail delivery thru private mail receptacles for ALL military members stationed at MCAS Miramar who live in the BEQ/BOQ. Mail boxes are proved at no cost to service members. Service members must present the BEQ/BOQ receipt during check-in before a box can be issued. General Delivery for transient and student personnel is provided upon written request during check-in. All personnel reporting to MCAS Miramar must check-in at the Military Post Office. Failure to do so will cause your mail to be delayed or possibly returned to sender.
