3rd Marine Aircraft Wing and Marine Corps Air Station Miramar are scheduled to host the “101 Days of Summer Safety” event from 8:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. May 26.

This training will take place on the flight line. Marines will engage in discussions and participate in briefs. There will be approximately 50 vendors from the government and civilian community providing safety, health and wellness information. Additionally, there will be a static display of various aircraft and a warrior zone led by Semper Fit.

Members of the media who wish to attend are required to meet at the MCAS Miramar East Gate at 8 a.m. where they will be met by uniformed public affairs staff.
