FY16011 Battle Color Detachment Ceremony to be held at MCAS Miramar

The Battle Color Detachment from Marine Barracks Washington is scheduled to perform on the Parade Deck at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California, Friday at 3 p.m.

The performance is scheduled to be open to personnel with base access and members of the media. Members of the media who wish to attend are required to meet at the MCAS Miramar East Gate at 2:30 p.m. where they will be met by uniformed public affairs staff.

The Battle Color Detachment is comprised of the U.S. Marine Drum & Bugle Corps, known as “The Commandant’s Own,” the Silent Drill Platoon, and the Official Color Guard of the Marine Corps.

Interested media must RSVP with the Miramar Public Affairs Office by 3 p.m., Thursday. Interested media may RSVP to miramarmedia@usmc.mil or at (858) 577-6000.
