The commanding officer of Marine Corps Air Station Miramar and the commanding general of the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing invite the San Diego community to the 2015 MCAS Miramar Air Show, Oct. 2 - 4.

As the largest military air show in the nation, the MCAS Miramar Air Show is a fun-filled, three-day event. The air show features military and civilian performers and static displays from around the world. This year’s show is scheduled to feature three great flying teams: The U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the Patriots Jet Team and the Breitling Jet Team for their first U.S. tour. Other notable acts include the Marine Air-Ground Task Force demonstration, the F-35B Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter demonstration and the AV-8B Harrier demonstration.

We also remind residents neighboring the air station that noise levels may increase through Oct. 4 as performing aircraft arrive, practice and perform at the air show.
