MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR, Calif -- The Color Me Rad 5K is scheduled to be held aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California, Saturday from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
The event is open to the public and is the first Color Me Rad 5K hosted at MCAS Miramar. More than 1,500,000 runners across North America have participated in Color Me Rad events. The event is family friendly and color stations are scattered throughout the course.
A portion of the proceeds of this race will benefit Marine Corps Community Services programs for Marines, Sailors and their families.

A uniformed public affairs representative will meet with all media organizations at 9:15 a.m. at the parking lot next to the MCAS Miramar East Gate.
