Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting with MCAS Miramar is scheduled to conduct a series of controlled burns from at 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. February 15, 2019.

The controlled burns are part of ARFF’s routine training and will utilize the Mobile Aircraft Fire Training Device. While some flames and smoke may be visible from nearby roadways, they will not hinder visibility and these fires will be within a controlled environment.
