The War on Terrorism Memorial located outside of the Airmen and Marine Memorial Chapel aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., hold the names of 3rd.MAW service members who lost their lives during the Global War on Terrorism. Artist Richard DeRosset, a La Jolla, Calif., Native and a Navy veteran, painted the mural for the chapel to frame the War on Terrorism Memorial. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Pfc.
