Jean Villanueva, a military working dog handler and trainer with Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Provost Marshal’s Office and an Anaheim, Calif., native, rewards Astor, a military working dog, with his toy after finding hidden narcotics during narcotics detection training aboard MCAS Miramar, Calif., Oct. 19. PMO trains their dogs to detect a variety of narcotics, including marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamines.
