This plaque, found in the Pearl Harbor Historic Sites for the USS Arizona Memorial and Museum, is an excerpt from President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Dec. 9, 1942, 'Fireside Chat' to the American people describing the events at Pearl Harbor. The quote reads "We are now in this war. We are all in it – all the way. Every single man, woman and child is a partner in the most tremendous undertaking of our American history."
