Amber Carrizales, wife of Cpl. Ismael Carrizales, controls an explosive ordnance disposal robot during the Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron (H&HS) Jane Wayne Day event aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., Oct. 10. Spouses were able to fire an M16 rifle, control an EOD robot, wear full explosive protective gear and play a training-based game.

Thousands of spectators came aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., to witness the Marine Air-Ground Task Force demonstration at the 2014 Miramar Air Show, Oct. 3. The MAGTF was established and formalized in December 1963 for swift deployment of Marine forces by air, land or sea, and provides a spectrum of response options upon receipt of a mobilization order.

Thousands of spectators came aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., to witness the Marine Air-Ground Task Force demonstration at the 2014 Miramar Air Show, Oct. 3. The pilots consist of former U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy pilots. The show runs Oct. 3-5 and is open to the public.
