2-day level 1 motorcycle training approved by HQMC. Class begins at 0645. Completing this course will not satisfy requirements to obtain a California motorcycle endorsement but may satisfy requirements to complete motorcycle training for most other states. Check with your state's DMV for acceptability.
3-day level 1 motorcycle training approved by HQMC. Class begins at 0645. Completing this course will provide riders with a DL-389 for riders to provide to the California DMV to waive the skills test at the DMV. Completing this course may satisfy requirements to complete motorcycle training in other states. Check with your state's DMV for acceptability.
1-day level 2 motorcycle training approved by HQMC. Class begins at 0645. Completing this training will satisfy the level 2 training requirement for new riders and will satisfy refresher training for experienced riders.
1-day level 3 motorcycle training approved by HQMC. Class begins at 0730. Completing this course will satisfy required refresher training for experienced riders. Riders must have completed level 2 and should have 1 year (~3,000 miles) of riding experience.
Riders wishing to enroll in motorcycle training must do so through their Motorcycle Mentorship Program President. MMP Presidents can enroll riders through the MCAS Miramar Safety SharePoint.
ATV training approved by HQMC. This training is required for all military and civilian employees that are operate an ATV as part of their duties. Active-Duty and Reserve may take this course recreationally. Retirees and dependents of active members cannot enroll using this application and will need to call with questions about attending. Students must provide their own ATV for this training.
Offroad motorcycle (dirt bike) training approved by HQMC. This training is required for all military and civilian employees that are required to operate an offroad motorcycle as part of their duties. Active-Duty and Reserve may take this course recreationally. Retirees and dependents of active members cannot enroll using this application and will need to call with questions about attending. Students must provide their own offroad motorcycle.
Side-by-side, UTV, ROHV training approved by HQMC. This training is required for all military and civilian employees that operate an ROHV as part of their duties (see StaO 5100.1, Ch.26 for definition of ROHV). Active-Duty and Reserve may take this course recreationally. Retirees and dependents of active members cannot enroll using this application and will need to call with questions about attending. Students must provide their own ROHV with a 2:1 or 1:1 ratio of student to ROHV.

All personnel under the age of 26 must complete this training within 60 days of checking in to their first command. This training is also offered on MarineNet (CMCSDDAT01). Signing up for this in-person training satisfies the requirement; training completion must be manually entered into MCTIMS through unit S-3.
This training is required for all personnel who have been convicted of moving traffic violations, been found at fault in a traffic accident while driving a government vehicle or personal vehicle or otherwise shown by their actions that their driving habits/attitudes warrant additional attention. Personnel are often required to take this training by the Station Magistrate to restore driving privileges on Station.
