ARFF Training at MCAS Miramar

The MCAS Miramar Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting squadron is scheduled to conduct training on the airfield beginning at 5:00 a.m. on February 1, 2019

The training will include a series of controlled burn exercises. The fires are part of the unit’s routine training program using the Mobile Aircraft Fire Training Device. Some flames and smoke may be visible from nearby roadways. No visibility restrictions are expected and these fires are in a controlled environment.
